Terms and Conditions of Sale – Aged Care Participants
1. Eligibility
By placing an order, you confirm that you are:
- An Aged Care participant under a recognised government program (e.g. Home Care Package, CHSP), or
- An authorised representative acting on behalf of the participant.
2. Product Information
We provide clear and accurate descriptions of all products, including their intended purpose, features, and suitability for older adults. If you have any doubts regarding a product’s suitability, please contact us prior to purchase.
3. Quotes, Pricing, and Payment
- A formal quote will be provided for approval before confirming your order.
- Orders are processed once the quote is approved and payment is received.
- All prices are in AUD and include GST (if applicable).
- Payment may be made by the participant directly or via their Aged Care provider, subject to prior approval.
- Orders will not be processed until full payment is confirmed.
4. Invoicing
- If billing an Aged Care provider, you must supply accurate details and secure prior written approval from them.
- We are not responsible for delays due to provider non-payment or late approval.
5. Delivery
- We deliver to both residential and care facility addresses.
- Estimated delivery times are provided but are subject to change based on location and third-party logistics.
- Please inspect all goods upon delivery and report any issues within 5 business days.
6. Returns and Refunds
a. General Return Policy
Returns are accepted for items that are faulty, not fit-for-purpose, or misdescribed, in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
Change-of-mind returns may be considered at our discretion. The item must be unused, unopened, and in its original packaging. Certain items (e.g. customised or hygiene-related products) are excluded.
b. Return Process
- All returns must be initiated within 7 days of delivery by contacting orders@mediplyplus.com.au.
- Once approved, instructions and a return label will be sent.
- Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs unless the item is damaged or incorrect.
c. Conditions for Return
- Items must be new, unopened, and unused.
- Items must be appropriately packaged to prevent damage during return shipping.
- Returns that do not meet these conditions may be refused.
d. Refunds & Credits
- Returns may be processed as a credit or exchange, subject to approval.
- Refunds or credits will be issued within 14 days after inspection.
- Sale items are final sale and non-refundable.
e. Exceptions (Non-returnable items)
- Special orders
- Non-stock items
- Specific medical supplies
f. Faulty or Damaged Products
- Faulty or incorrect items must be reported within 2 days of delivery.
- If the fault is confirmed, Mediply Plus Pty Ltd will cover return shipping.
7. Warranties
All products are covered by applicable manufacturer warranties. Warranty documentation will be included with your purchase where relevant.
8. Privacy
Your personal and health-related information is collected only to process your order and provide related services. We respect your privacy and handle all information in accordance with Australian privacy law.
9. Limitation of Liability
Our liability is limited to the replacement or refund of goods as permitted by Australian Consumer Law. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss.
10. Dispute Resolution
If you have a concern or complaint, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order. We are committed to resolving issues promptly and respectfully.
