Purilon Hydrogel
Purilon Hydrogel
Purilon® gel combines hydrating and absorbing properties to support natural autolytic debridement and maintain a moist wound healing environment. It hydrates necrotic tissue while absorbing excess exudate, slough, and debris, helping to prepare the wound bed throughout the healing process.
The gel is easy to apply using a one-handed applicator that ensures controlled and aseptic application, and it can be easily removed by rinsing. Its viscous, cohesive texture helps the gel stay in place, minimising leakage and reducing the risk of maceration.
Purilon® gel is made from purified water, sodium carboxymethylcellulose, and calcium alginate, with no additives, making it a gentle option for wound care. It is indicated for dry or sloughy necrotic wounds and mixed-tissue wounds such as leg ulcers, pressure injuries, non-infected diabetic foot ulcers, and first-degree and second-degree burns, and should be used with a secondary dressing.
